Elme Messer Gaas opened a filling station in Riga

The most modern in the Baltic States gas filling station of Elme Messer Gaas was put into operation in Riga. The total cost of the investment was about six million euros, of which more than 1.3 million euros was received as a grant from Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA).

“Thanks to entering of the station into service, we managed to reach a new level of control over the quality of products, to apply standardized technologies and increase the efficiency and safety level of production processes. Its output is more than 500 thousand cylinders per year, "comments Igor Berman, board member of Elme Messer Gaas AS.

The new filling station in terms of equipment and performance is included in the TOP-10 of existing Messer Group’s stations in Europe. The station, with an area of about 15,000 m2, is fully automated. The new station enables to make a complex, multicomponent mixtures. In addition to filling of cylinders, the station carries out their repair and certification, as well as the production and packaging of dry ice.

Elme Messer Gaas was founded in 1999 and belongs in equal parts to two major concerns - Messer Group (Germany) and BLRT Grupp (Estonia). The team of the international company totals 250 employees. Elme Messer Gaas offers its customers a complete list of industrial, medical, food and special gases, as well as a wide range of unique engineering solutions and technologies. The company owns three modern air separation plants and five filling stations in the Baltic States, Russia and Ukraine.
