Two future engineers conferred on BLRT Grupp Scholarship

On the 28th of November, the TalTech Development Fund awarded 55 scholarships to students in a total amount of 104,240 euros, a record sum in recent years. In the fall semester of 2018, 548 applications were submitted, of which 24 - for BLRT Grupp scholarships.

For the second year in a row, BLRT Grupp awards two successful students of the Engineering Faculty of TalTech, studying in the following specialties: Production Engineering and Management, Product Development and Robotics, Mechatronics or Future of Design and Technology, as well as Integrated Technologies, scholarships in amount of 2,000 euros. This year, BLRT Grupp scholarships were awarded to Alan-Skiip Küttim, Master’s degree student, and Tario Raimond Meerbach, Bachelor’s degree student.

“Today there is practically no branch in Estonia, which would not face an aggravating shortage of highly qualified specialists. Support of future engineers with scholarships is one of the possible ways to attract more attention to this profession and find young specialists,” explains Karina Kond, Communications Director of BLRT Grupp.

In addition to the scholarships awarded by the Group with assistance of TalTech Development Fund, on the 9th of December the names of three students, who will receive three scholarships of 2,000 euros each from BLRT Fond, will be announced.
